Kind of silly, as the years are an Earth-system. BC, AD, and all that. Not reasonable to assume she'd be on the same system or know it. I guess maybe she learned it in conversations with the others, but still odd.

shareHappens in every sci if tv show and movie, alien races use earth years instead of their own calendars for describing dates or past events, obviously this is for the audience, otherwise we’d have a lot of alien calendar education in every show.
shareI thought the same thing when Squidward said the timestamp on her memories was from 10 years ago. Is that an earth year, a Xandar year, or maybe Asgard, because there is no way every planet has the same solar cycle.
