Introduce mutants and Dark Phoenix saga. Avengers 5 or 6 should culminate in the TRUE Dark Phoenix storyline as seen in the comics, not the 2 movie aberrations to date. That will give us a great “villain” to followup on the Thanos story. What do you guys think?
Marvel should take their time with this over many movies, to do it right.

It could be interesting if it’s well done but I don’t know if fans will think ughh again after how horrible that dark Phoenix film was.
Exactly. I certainly look forward to Mutants being introduced into the MCU (something tells me it’s going to happen sooner rather than later), but the Dark Phoenix stuff? It should be given a rest. While I say Marvel would undoubtedly do the saga justice, they should be in no hurry to adapt this story, especially after what happened with the last two live-action misfires that tried to adapt it. With that in mind, I also don’t think Dark Phoenix is something a lot of fans would like to see anytime soon regardless if it’s Marvel that does it. We need to see different/new X-Men stories on the big screen!
But yeah, I highly doubt this classic storyline is something Marvel will tackle anywhere in the near future, even after Mutants are no longer strangers in the MCU (that’s not how Kevin Feige operates).
Don’t forget, the Thanos story took about twenty films and Ten years to complete. A Dark Phoenix storyline, starting now, could take ten years, too, and maybe Marvel Girl doesn’t become Phoenix until the last 2 films, give or take. So no, it’s not too early.

Well the MCU kind of made Wanda their Jean Grey. If you look at the Multiverse of Madness, it seems like Wanda going crazy out of control and being extremely powerful is kind of similar to the Dark Phoenix saga. So I just don't think it would make sense for them to do the same thing with another character.
They have so much other stuff going on. They have to introduce Doctor Doom, Galactus, Mutants and the Fantastic 4. Also possibly Norman Osbourne Oh and Blade...which means a whole new Supernatural part of the MCU. depending on the deal with Sony. There is also rumour of a Hulk film now....which surely would be World War Hulk. It seems like the endgame of Phase 6 is Secret Wars.
My best guess is that the Multiverse of Madness is going to be used to introduce a lot of these things. Maybe all of them.
