Hulk’s character development

Hulk and Bruce Banner seem to have come at peace with each other and now he is Hulk all the time.

I would love a film that shows us how that happened. It could be an interesting story of how Hulk and Bruce accept each other and control the anger bursts. At the same time, it would be good to see what happened between him and Betty Ross.

I feel that the MCU has denied us opportunities with Hulk that it could explore with a semi-prequel Hulk movie.

What does everyone else think?

The problem is Universal owns the film rights to Hulk but lets Marvel use him in their Avengers movies. But he can't have a solo film.

I thought Hulk's development peaked with Ultron, which is otherwise my least favorite Avengers movie. Ragnarok felt like a parody and I didn't like Brucehulk/Professor Hulk at all.

Its just so hard to do a Hulk movie. I thought World War Hulk was the best chance, and they kind of stole that for Thor. Professor Hulk is a cool novelty, but is he really the hulk if he isn't flying off the handle into a rage???

I think he is always going to work best as a co-star with near equal billing, like he was in Thor.
