This sounds bullshit ! MCU is Earth-199999 , if it was 616 many things should be different , like Nick Fury being white , Infinity Gauntlet not harming its wearear and many other things , unless of course Marvel decided to screw everything on purpose.

I think its sort of hinting at the future landscape of what 199999 will look like.

Beck saying its 616 is most likely a nod to the main timeline of the comics. It could be Beck just making things up as he usually does, he could think he's in 616 when he's not, or it could just be Sony effing up again like they did with "eight years later."

Its impossible for 199999 to be 616 because as you've described it has already deviated from 616. No matter what the MCU decides to do it will always be 199999. 199999 is still in its infancy and is largely unwritten compared to 616.
