I can never recall any of the Marvel movies' plots

Most movies I can recall the plot exactly. I guess my brain just process the visuals and not the story.

Most of the films they are just trying to get away from this guy named Burt.

Most of the films are semi-comedies thus making the plot unimportant.

The serious films are easier for me to remember.

Sure you can:
1 - bad guys appear, and boy they are BAD
2 - bad guys win, sort off.
3 - bad guys lose.
