I didn't get this. Under the rules of this time travel (and all others really) what is happening to a newer version of you would not affect the older version of you.
So how are the memories in the new Nebula ending up back in the old Nebula? What am I missing.
It did seem like BS but I gave the movie the benefit of the doubt because she is a cyborg. Her brain supposedly works like a network, so she picked up the other Nebula´s memories.

shareBut that means present Nebula would always be transmitting to past Nebula, right? Which mean Thanos would be prepared for whats going to happen.
shareI guess the best real-life analogy is the cloud. Thanos has Nebula tracked by some kind of computer that syncs with her memory bank, most likely to keep tabs on her and prevent betrayal. When future Nebula showed up, her memory bank synced with it as well, creating a second info stream that Thanos used to glean the Avengers' plans.
