This movie is not going to beat avatar!
Let's get real here, this movie will not beat avatar. Probably wont beat titanic as well. Once the hype goes down, it will probably finish at 1.5 billion. Thoughts?

sharei agree it won't catch either one
shareAgreed ! It had a 1.2 billion opening ... and now it will only add another 300 million in its overall run #FACT
shareThe hype is the reason it made that much in a short time Once it goes down, it wont make much after that imo.
shareI agreed with you ... only 300million to be made in the next couple of months !! #UnderperformerOfTheDecade
shareActually the reason it made so much early on is people wanted to avoid spoilers. Even more so than they did for Infinity War. Infinity War showed them how important it was to see this early.
So ultimately your original statement is more than likely true. We will probably see slightly lower holds than Infinity War had in the coming weeks. Avatar basically made its money because people kept seeing it to the point where theaters just kept the movie there the whole dang year. Thats just not likely to happen for an MCU movie.
But it isn't ending around $1.5 billion. Try more like $2.3 billion.
How can this finish at 1.5 billion when it's already 1.23 billion after 5 days ? it will probably at 1.8-2.0 billion at the end of the next week end
shareNope, I think it will be the biggest ever/so-far. If for no other reasons than (a) it's actually very good and (b) they never allow for inflation when they produce these numbers so it's all a bit of a con anyway.
shareInflation adjusted numbers are always readily available and provided, at least on box office mojo, which is the only place Ive ever looked at these kinds of numbers. They even list average ticket prices at the time of release to assist with comparisons.
shareThese trolls and their sock puppet accounts tho (come on people, the signs are there!). No matter how much they embarrass themselves, they keep coming back for some more.
Real? We’ll see how real you’ll act when your predictions/hopes fail miserably in a month (hell, try next week!) and the hype doesn’t die out, dunsky. And btw, I am certain 10 years from now Endgame is going to be remembered far more fondly than Avatar. Nothing against Avatar, but these days it’s mostly hardcore Cameron fans that continue to rave about Dances with Blue Creatures. So many others that saw it? If I had nickel for every time I heard someone say that they remember the film having great effects, but...that’s pretty much it.
They (being Trolls and their Sock Puppet accounts) don't care about anything more than attention.
shareThoughts? i think you are either very very very stupid , or just some very very stupid troll
