I thought it was very deus ex machina...
...when Captain Marvel flies through and obliterates Thanos' mothership all by herself. It looked so, so easy for her, in other words.
Who else thought so?

She's supposed to be one of the most powerful if not the most power character in the MCU so it doesn't really surprise me at all.
shareThor destroyed several, if not all, the landing ships from Thanos Army easily in Infinity War, and he is supposed to be as strong or even less than Captain Marvel. Didn't hear anyone crying about it by then...
shareHe destroyed 1 and then cuts away as he flies to another. I checked.
There is no way you can compare those landing ships to Thanos' ship
Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) was created and wrtitten to be the most powerful character because Marvel comics went all SJW, that is why they are failing and why Captain Marvel has been rebooted countless times inluding quite recently. She is universally disliked in the comic books due to the fact she doesn't earn anything, she has no hero's journey, everything is so easy for her, i think they call that a Mary Sue.
The new reboot they have even got rid of (thank god) the Justin Beiber haircut which is being used as the current movie version becuase well lets be honest in this day an age everything needs there woke character.
The new #1 they have is basically Captain Marvel vs Toxic Masculinity, I have read it, it is awful. Iron Man is a wuss and Nuclear Man is basically Mr Toxic Masculinity, its pathetic but this is the direction Marvel comics is going and the MCU will follow suit.
Sorry got sidetracked, back on point. Thor has earned his place as a powerful character, Captain Marvel was given it, that is the difference.
Nah not at all. Nobody spoke French in dis movie except 4 maybe in French release?
