By coincidence I finished rewatching Agent Carter the evening before I saw Endgame so it was a bonus when Peggy and Mr Jarvis popped up. Indeed Peggy even got the final scene which was a nice touch - and probably the final scene for Capt. America?
shareThat was so cool. Having been a fan of Agent Carter since the beginning myself, I couldn’t help but cheer “a little” when OG Jarvis popped up. I certainly expected Peggy to appear in Endgame (loved her appearance), but James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis? It was unexpected.
Though I always felt that Agent Carter had a strong chance of being acknowledged in the films over any of the other shows, seeing Jarvis in Endgame was a real pleasant surprise all the same. Needles to say, he officially became the first character and actor to be introduced in an MCU show and then appear in an MCU film.
In regards to the ending possibly being the last time Cap appears, who knows. Part of me hopes it isn’t, but if it is... then I’m more than cool with it.
