Unless you are a shareholder with a financial investment in Disney, shouldn’t you be worried about the actual quality of the film, rather than the projected box office and international yield estimates?
You know, the stuff that you’re actually paying for as a mere audience member?
I sort of agree with you. As an example I liked Shazam!, I wrote I liked it on the message board only to be bombarded by people saying the movie is a failure because it only did 300 million to date worldwide on a 80 Million budget (Yeah a huge failure lol ). Like what does these people think? That the box office return of a film is what make me like it or not lol , Hardly! Avengers endgame is guaranteed to be a huge success but even if we lived in a world where it would totally bomb at the box office I probably would still like it. My own enjoyment of a film is more important than the money it makes at the box office.

shareBefore I start I am talking about the stupid crazy fans on here. I just like good superhero movies.
Now im on these boards a lot but, I rarely post. To me, the whole box office thing started when mcu first started. Dc fans would bring up box office NON STOP due to Dark Knight and Rises. Putting down MCU movies for not making those numbers.
Then Marvel started making those numbers and the DC fans were saying how much MOS would make then, Batman and Superman were teaming up and DC fans were saying 2.5 billion easilly. They acted like those people who say "hold my beer". DC fans were being extremely arrogant and flooding marvel boards saying all this.
Fast forward now Marvel fans are acting like the DC fans back in the day. Granted,DC fans, they kind of deserve it, MCU has flourished while DC floundered.
Cant we all just get along. lol.
