The first three phases of the MCU have just recently been coined "The Infinity Saga" and I personally think it's great. The whole overarching plot involving Thanos and the infinity stones stretching throughout the current phases really makes it feel more like a comic book.
What do you think about it? Do you think they'll continue collecting phases like this? What should be the next overarching story?
I'd like to see an arc dedicated to something like Acts of Vengeance or the creation of the Masters of Evil. The MCU has had trouble with compelling villains in the past so I think this would be a great way to get on their game with a big villain team-up. Eventually, it could lead to a Thunderbolts movie.
shareThey've got a couple of villains they could use for Thunderbolts. Most notably Zemo and Ghost since they were both members in the comic. He was never a member, but if the concept is similar to Suicide Squad where they could get time off their sentence, I could see Vulture having a lot of motivation to join. I've heard rumors of a possible Sinister Six due to Marvel introducing so many villains within two movies. I'd really to see them lead up to Annihilation though.
