Yes. I figured he would start to fail and suddenly, we see the Hulkbuster warp and buckle just before the big guy rips the helmet off to show his face.
shareI was just kind of picturing it suddenly bursting apart, and Hulk would be standing there, but your way sounds more epic! Banner still had it on in the end, so it might happen in the next movie ;)
shareI know I did. Better question: who didn’t? ;) Interestingly, there was an Infinity War Hulkbuster toy that came out a while ago and it contains the Hulk IN the Buster. And indeed, it allows the Hulk to bust out of the armor. This understandably had people thinking that this was a major spoiler for the film (they sometimes do that with the toys). Of course, I don’t think you had to be aware of this toy in order to expect the Hulk to suddenly come bursting out of the Hulkbuster.
Am I disappointed things turned out differently? As long as an epic moment like this does happen in the next film, then I have no issue with Infinity War giving it a pass. I do love the idea alright. And anyhow, Banner working things out with the big guy is something I’m looking forward to.
