I amazed at what a poor film this is. I really wanted to like it, but I just could not. Long stretches of the film were just dull. The action scenes lacked any spark. Samuel L Jackson seemed like he was on auto pilot. If you compare this with Wonder Woman, you can see what a let down this is.

There is not one memorable scene in Captain Marvel. In Wonder Woman, there is the battle on No Man's Land and the fight in the town. I watched it again on YouTube and its still exciting.Definitely one of the poorest films in the MCU.

Compare it to Wonder Woman now? Ugh no. Well, the funny thing about that is CM is resonating with audiences worldwide more than WW did (getting higher audience scores than WW in many sites and plus it dethroned WW’s opening weekend), so whateva. And solid film that WW, but the No Man’s Land scene itself was the only scene that felt like it was anything truly special compared to the rest of the film. Captain Marvel on the other hand is loaded with typical sweet MCU moments, especially the smaller GREAT moments. And a younger and less experienced Jackson as Fury on auto pilot? Not according to almost everyone except the naysayers. Yeah, man.
