2 words: fkn marvelous! Worth noting its advance ticket sales are the third biggest for any MCU film only behind Black Panther and of course Infinity War [source: Fandango]. This is beyond impressive given that this character has never appeared in any previous MCU film. And man is this post’s title triggered-inducing for DCEU fanatics! XD In all fairness though, it’s awesome how the top 4 superhero origin films in pre-sales are lead by diverse people many of CM’s detractors DON’T want to see leading these big films. REAL audiences have spoken!

But anyhow, while I’m cautiously optimistic myself the hype for Captain Marvel is very real (don’t let anyone tell u otherwise). This film has been so underestimated since day one, and not just by overgrown fascist toddlers who are trolling all CM pages, but even by supposed fair Marvel fans also convinced that this will be the MCU’s first real failure (yea, ok). So for CM to do the so-called impossible and exceed all expectations, would be deeply satisfying!

Oh, and yes, to the so-not wildly obsessed and delusional anti-Captain Marvel/Disney crowd (from the likes of DCeu darlings like Queenie to the alt righties) it doesn’t matter how high this film ultimately flies. Proven wrong they will be, but they’ll continue with their whiny and silly agenda regardless. Keep crying, you fools!

I don't think so. I don't think people are really excited or hyped for this movie. I know my friends who are die hard Marvel fans that don't care about it. I don't care about it. We'll see how much it makes.
