What are the chances of this beating WW?
nil or zero?
I want to say nil because WW is so much better known. But it IS the lead in to Infinity War so....i’ll Say 5% chance.

Teacher: "Sorry class those numbers are that Captain Marvel will gross within %5 and %10 of WW. That means that they would have a 95% and 90% chance of beating Wonder Woman's ww total."
Teacher: "Try again but this time use your calculators and your smarts."
Class: "$41,092,351 and $82,847,012."
Teacher: "Perfect. You knew the correct answer all along but were worried that the real box office was going to be stated higher than the way the problem was stated."
Class: "Who would say such a confusing but easily unproveable statement like that?"
Teacher: "I'm going to have to refer you to Professor BillBrown. He's quite the expert on the person who makes such silly statements."
Class: "But what about 5% of hitting a Billion? How is 5% of hitting a Billion and 5% of $821 Million comparable?"
Teacher: "You know the answer. The poster doesn't know the answer because the statement is nonsensical when compared to each other."
Teacher: "Okay class for extra points why are Nil and Zero the same and turn in your reports on Ignoring Trolls."
Teacher: "Stay smart and safe out there while posting."

[–] QueenFanUSA (1467) a month agoLooks like Captain Marvel should have had a 100% chance of attaining a higher world wide total than WW. Like I said your percentage should have been much, much higher. A less than 5% chance would have meant that CM would only get about $50 Million tops.

That means you were 95% wrong or statistically speaking might as well round that up to 100% wrong, or completely wrong or absolutely wrong.
Oh, yeah, and by the way. Captain Marvel did eclipse Wonder Woman's total World Wide box office also. Definitely wrong again. share

It wouldn't have been anything that crossed your mind as you had CM not even getting close to Ant-Man or Ant-Man 2. I don't know which because you never made it clear.

The question is what type of analysis brought you to make the statements that you made? That is why so many on this board/forum were so flabbergasted with you. You always start with this gloom and doom, this Disney movie won't do this and that Marvel movie won't make this much or Disney has another animation flop.
You'll then say, "I want this or that Disney/Marvel film to be a success...it's a good movie". The problem is that your initial statements were that it would flop based on it not hitting the Zeitgeist, or the budget (always TOO large if it is Disney) and your projected result, like Ant-Man numbers. As if Ant-Man or Ant-Man and the Wasp were flops?
That sure sounds like floppity, flop, flop, flop talk to me and most everyone else.
It makes no sense and yet you do it religiously for each movie from Disney and Marvel. Now you are predicting GREAT results for Shazam which is predicted to have a smaller opening than CM. Mind you, I think Shazam will do excellently and will perform spectacularly but your lack of optimism and predictions for CM is both stunning and telling.
It's time for you to flip your script and honestly cover your favorite talking point, Box Office performance.
