That was the best-looking alien I've seen in sci fi for a while. Then at the end, when he was looking at the earth blow up and the glow lightened his skin ... it looked even better! You could see all the detail. I see that an actor played the guy so obviously he was wearing a lot of plastics/make-up. (Or did he just provide the voice?) I sure hope it wins some kind of award.

Meh! I've seen better alien costumes on Face Off. By the time the miniseries aired just about everyone in the know assumed Karellen would look like Tim Currey in Legend(1986). Certainly those who read the book knew. The whole 'surprise appearance' thing was hyped to distract us from the incoherent screenplay.
Frankly every time I see rubber forehead humanoid aliens that talk with English accent's I have to laugh. Give me a really non-human alien in CGI any day.
Granted, I don't watch "Face Off" or really any alien-type movies or TV shows, so this was very unusual for me. We've come a long way with our portrayal of aliens.
This demon kinda looks better than the one the same actor, Charles Dance (aka daddy Lannister of Game of Thrones), played in The Golden Child 30 years ago, but still not that impressive
