Can you tell that this was filmed in New Orleans?

Just found out recently that this was filmed here in New Orleans, despite the fact that it's set in Southern California. Does anything stand out as being in New Orleans? I'm just curious.

Plenty of scenes were filmed in Los Angeles

The scene at the night club by the freeway is not in Los Angeles. The street sign near the end of the film is not a typical street sign on a L.A. street. The built of the freeway in the scene looks like a New Orleans freeway constructed one as I remembered when I went there a few years ago.
