My thoughts on Keanu

Key & Peele's Keanu pays respect to Keanu Reeves, George Michael, being true to yourself, your cat, and strong women.
If you don't already love Key & Peele going into this, you may hate this movie.

You could infer that since I do love Key and Peele that I loved the movie.
You could also infer that since it's my opinion that they paid respect to a list of things, that I liked those things about the movie.

I do find it ironic, that in the movie they give Jordan Peele an african american love interest, to appeal to a black audience, but in real life he is dating a white woman.

Cute movie, a bit simplistic, but a good first film for the duo... I've seen plenty worse translations from tv comedy to the big screen... in fact a huge majority of such films are just awful... so this was pretty good all things considered.

The cat wasn't overplayed, but was used to show the soft side of all gangsters, they would die or kill for that cat... and the music montage with Keanu was very funny.

I felt near the end, that if I didn't love Key & Peele, I'd probably hate the movie
their comedy works for me though, its quirky and unique and creative and silly, but not over the top.

There are definitely some great scenes; the everyone has a price scene is epic. I'd say go see it.

I would definitely recommend anyone thinking of seeing this movie to watch the show Key & Peele first.
