I thought this actually starred and was filmed with all cats?

I told a bunch of black people at work that I wanted to see this even though I thought the special effects and how they animated (or didn't even bother animating) the talking cats faces was cheesy.

First they thought I was a poser trying to pretend like I liked their comedy then they all thought "WTF is he talking about?"

So now I'm pissed at this movie one because it's not like the spoof trailer which would have been AWESOME and two because it caused that odd and embarrassing social interaction for me. I'm actually boycotting this junk.

I never saw any trailer that didn't have the actors in it.

I saw the cat trailer first and wondered why Key & Peele would make something like that!

It sounds like your real problem is that you would lump together your co-workers as "a bunch of black people," and yeah, if that's how you think about them, any social interaction would be awkward.

Well they were black and there was a bunch of them. Sounds like the problem here might really be you, wanting to call a spade a club.
