Empty

I sorta liked the main character and his detail voiceover. But then they did that stupid burning woman accident that he can't forget. He fluctuates between autistic hitman and emotional script reader. Then ya have Hopkin's opening speech that starts with him shooting civilians in a ditch but then appeals to pathos when he feels bad for the surviving kid running for it. Utterly stupid and the worst writing I have seen in years.

The plot is simple and still manages to not make sense. One or two times, I liked the lead. Even some select moments in the movie were OK. But overall, this movie is completely empty. There is nothing of value inside. It is better than that last Kevin Bacon horror movie though.

3.5/10

Hopkins and Morse must have really needed the dough.
