Who was paid more--Meryl Streep or Hugh Grant?
Women actresses often claim they are not paid as well as male actors. Just curious how that played out in this case.

Women actresses often claim they are not paid as well as male actors IN THEIR CLASS. And it's true.
Streep and Grant are not in the same class/category. She is the top banana, the #1 female actor in America. She comes with a guaranteed box office, and more often than not, assures award nominations. She is also the star of the movie. Grant, while a movie star in his own right, is nowhere near the Streep league.
So without knowing how much they were paid, it would of course be Streep.
I think Streep was. She is a multiple Award winner, and her has a more successful career than Grant does.

lol "women actresses" don't have to "claim" anything. It's a well known, and documented fact (just compare the Forbes rankings of best paid actors and actresses for numbers).
Streep is the lead, a multiple Oscar winner. Grant is a has-been rom-com Brit with a bad PR past who's playing a supporting role in the movie. Nobody expects him to make more money than her in this particular movie.
However, I doubt Meryl's salary for the movie even comes close to that of a supporting male actor in a Marvel movie.
