Somewhat, but that's just pretty much how big Hollywood action, science fiction, and fantasy blockbuster scores have sounded for going on twenty years now.
Seems that instead of going for a more personalized sound, they opt for Hans Zimmer, John Williams or knockoffs of their styles.
