Really diggin the show but...(Spoilers!!!)

The whole 'twist' with DI Karen Voss and her actually being one of the sentient synths as well seems to me like really bad writing for what had so far been a pretty well-written show. The fact that she ends up working in essentially what I assume is the synth division of the police force, where you would think SOMEONE would be familiar with the inventor and what happened to his wife. Why did she join that particular task force? What were her intentions all along if she just came to the conclusion that all sentient synths should be destroyed--including herself??? I guess you could try to explain how and why she decided to work for the police, but you would be reaching. But anything beyond that is just, to me, lazy writing and opens up a lot of plot holes. Perhaps this could be answered later on but right now it seems dumb as f@ck to me.
I'm surprised no one else has brought this up yet on here....
Anyone feel the same??? Help me out, ya'll. (Yup, I'm a stupid yank)

They copied that idea about her being police officer from the Swedish version ('Real Humans'), but there is quite a lot of differences in the script regarding her (she is called Beatrice Novak in the Swedish series) and Karen Voss. Swedish script made a bit more sense regarding her, although there were plot holes there, too.
There were some scenes, which were illogical in the Swedish version regarding her. First her partner from the police confirms that there was absolutely nothing showing that she has not been human, and then in the second season they show that her servomotors could be heard when she is moving - that did not make sense at all.
Anyway, there are a lot differences in the scripts of both series, so it is worth watching both. Actually, only the beginning is very similar.
Also the actress playing her in the Swedish version is more pretty. ;)

Bea was my favourite character, she is a combo of Karen and Niska from Uk version. She was so badass. I feel the original is much darker and much more violent.
