Anyone think something more was going to happen to her when her bag broke? Was a bit shocked only to wait a week and she's sat, perfectly fine, drinking a coffee again.
What do you think the point was? Just to remind us, or Pete, that she's a synth? He mentions it enough to her. Can't help feeling sorry for her when he does. She seems upset. Can he not get over the fact she's not human or what?

He's not doing it because he can't get over her being a synth if that was the case he wouldn't mention her being a synth. He's doing it because he doesn't want her to have to hide who she really is.

Yes, I did. I thought at the very least there would be a couple scenes of him looking online for instructions on to drain the fluid out. Or that maybe he would go to Maddie for help, since she's the only one he knows who knows about Karen and has experience dealing with synths.

No. She is the one who can't get over the fact he knows she's not human. It throws her whole self-delusion scheme out of the window.

I'm quite annoyed that this didnt go anywhere as it confused the hell out of me and several other viewers.

But as someone else stated, maybe it's that Pete was "qualified" or had the knowledge to fix her??
