Great writing
Probably one of the best scripted shows on TV. Lopez and Liota are amazing in this series.
Looking forward to the debauchery of next season.

It's a bit close-minded of you to suggest that just because a show has fantasy elements such as dragons that it doesn't deserve critical acclaim. Comparing it to Pokemon? Seriously? Have you ever even watched beyond the first episode? Game Of Thrones has some of the most interesting characters and storylines ever to grace television. Despite it being fantasy the characters are relatable and there are parallels between societal issues in their world that aligns with issues we face in our world. Lord Of The Ring also had fantasy elements and it won 11 Oscars. Would you compare that to Pokemon as well? I do think it's a bit overrated. Some people hail it as the best show of all time, which I think is a bit of a stretch when you consider shows like The Wire, The Sopranos, and Breaking Bad. However, overall it is a great show, and one of the best on TV right now.
