Hell yeah I hated him. He was a little sociopath as a kid and a total psycho as an adult. Preacher or not, he didn't deserve a happy ending.

Bart was corrupted by John Amos who was totally insane, and his therapy didn't take, obviously. Total institutionalization was the only solution for him.
He should never have been allowed out again in public.

But I can't figure out what religion he, or his mentor, were following.

That kind of misogyny is very common amongst certain cultists, I've met a few, but you'd be hard pressed to find it in every day Christianity.

I wonder what kind of screwed up upbringing VCA had?????
