dude did you not watch the movies carefully enough? One of the limitations of the purge is that you CANNOT attack GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, they are off limits even during the purge.

2) They're off limits according to the law, but there's no magic barrier protecting them. You'd just be prosecuted.
This whole movie was about there NOT being any restrictions anymore and that even politicians are fair game.

Am not american so probably the same thing I do everyday. If I was american I'd probably go on holiday or arrange for my neighbours to join together and protect the area.
shareI wood become a vigilante. Leading up 2 the purge. I wood look up criminal records, Megan's law lists, bail jumper wanted posters, etc, and kill as many of these scumbags as possible.

shareTry and leave the country. If that is not an option I'd lock myself in my basement. There is a big room down there that has a lock that is very hard to lockpick. I'd grab a gun and lock myself in there, and not come out until The Purge is over.
