The more I think about it the more amazing s3 becomes
Love the wide cast. Love everything about it. Very underrated.

shareI felt there was a lot that could have been cut from the show and a lot that could have been added to it. The surreal dream like elements weren't there. Too high tech with special effects. Didn't care for all of that.
shareI thought there was a good dose of Red Room, plus whole new realms like the Mauve Zone and the b&w White Lodge, Audrey’s pocket universe, The Roadhouse, then there’s the entirety of episode 8 and its nuclear 1940’s nightmare with FrogMoths, and of course the finale’s creepily uncanny alt universe.
All in all, far more ‘surreal dream like elements’ than the original series, to say nothing of bizarro moments in the ‘real world’ like Red’s disappearing coin trick and that vanishing junction box.
Too slick for me. I guess it is how you look at it. The Red Room seemed very high tech and didn't look like the same room from the series.
shareProbably the fact that it was shot in 4K/HD so everything’s more detailed and real, unlike the crappy low-res square of 90’s TV which is more divorced from reality.
shareFor me the low quality worked much better than the 4K/HD. The high tech made it too real. My dreams are not in 4K/HD and that is why the low quality low resolution worked better for me. The old show seemed dream-like, while season 3 seemed hyper real. Didn't care for the change.
shareContinuing twin peak so far after the 2nd season is a hard task and season 3 was ok.
Some interesting stuff
Couldnt stand the dougie character
I've watched it around 20 times already. Can't get enough.
shareBy about 2/3 of the way through my first viewing of the season 3, I remember just being slack jawed and involuntarily arched forward unable to do anything but absorb what was unfolding.
