How did they film new footage of young Laura Palmer?

In the last pair of episodes Coop leads Laura away through the forest. Did they CGI Laura's face or have a stand-in?

I believe it was just good makeup and proper lighting. Notice that we never see a close-up of her face in this scene. Also, the scene is B&W and rather dark.

I'd assume the budget included something for CGI work. Probably used in this case.

It was probably a CGI of her.
