I've read a lot of conjecture about The Road House and the Bang Bang Bar. It is obvious that the place is being used as a music showcase. But considering that it was quite important in the first 2 seasons and Cooper saw the Fireman there twice I'm guessing it has some importance this season. Also considering the name dropping, Audrey wanting to go there, and the recent scene with the crawling girl I wouldn't be surprised to see a major scene or two there in the last episodes, besides the songs of course.

I really like how these episodes end with a live recorded performance at The Road House. It creates an atmosphere that in its own way is a celebration of the show and its fans. I don't think much more needs to be made of it.

Am i not remembering things correctly?

It's been awhile since i've read laura's diary, but for some reason i was thinking there were 2 different bars. I thought there was the local twin peaks bar (where they held the court case in s1 or s2), and also the roadhouse that jacque worked at (that was close to the canadian border). Was there always just the one bar?

I thought the court case was held at the Roadhouse. The other bar was Blackies? That one was actually in Canada.
