Sarah's Face Off imagery

I found it savory.

1 - a black and white smoke - throw back to episode 8
2 - a serpent tongue lashing two times - general evil motif
3 - a hand with the spiritual finger blackened - as pointed out by Gordon to Tammy [and Bad Coop's inverted finger print thing]
4 - a smile in that black and white background - ominous

"do you really want to fuck with this?"

Very animalistic and well conceived. The visual Fx could have been better though. Not necessarily more modern [I prefer Lynch's crudeness] but more "hands on".

It doesn't mean necessarily that she's with "Mother", it could be Bob.

I don't know. This show always destroys most of the theories out there, so we will have to wait and see.

reply

Yeah it destroys a lot of expectations. And that's a wonderful thing. I enjoy being positively surprised.

I agree...

I thought at first she said, "Do you really want to fuck this?" Like, c'mon trucker dude - how drunk are you that you're hitting on crazy bitch smoker-face Sarah Palmer AND trying so hard?

reply

ahah I had the same exact reaction. Only after seeing it a couple more times I figured she said "with this".

I saw the suggestion that Sarah also has a doppelganger, who we see in the bar. I thought, yeah, and she answered the door for Hawk while Sarah was rummaging around in the kitchen, probably for some booze or a glass. :/

You can spot the Doppelgangers when they have pale blue eyes [see DoppelCoop, Laura Palme, Annie and The Arm in both FWWM and Season 2 finale] or pure black ones [DoppelCoop this season].

Sarah is difficult to say because she already has very clear blue eyes. But I can see her either being inhabited by Bob or Mother or even having her own Doppelganger [though it seems in order to have one you need to be in the Lodge first; and as far as we have seen, she hasn't been in any of the Lodges].
