Aside from briganza's astute observations about meatballs,
Bobby seems so sad this season. Like a beaten man. I think shelly broke him. What happened to that smug punk attitude i once loved?
Yet, even in that awful uniform he wears, he still makes my heart flutter.
At some point between 1989 and 2016, he finally dropped the bad boy facade and became a mature and responsible adult. This is most likely why Shelly left him, considering who she was with before and who she's with now.

Im afraid bobby's new solemn demeanor has more to do with the loss of his first love, and his dad. Then pile on top of that whatever shelly did to him and.... bobby season 3 happened.

Did you notice how terrible Ed is at eating soup? Who *does* that? He was slurping like some kind of bushman who had never used a spoon before.

shareSeriously though, when have you seen someone who is not a hobo doing that? I was in Jamaica recently, where people always just drink their soup from a cup like that -- no spooning necessary. At least that looks civilized. What Ed was doing was like when you're eating rice out of a bowl with chopsticks and trying to get that final grain into your mouth. He looked like a man practicing cunnilingus on a cup.
