Silencio is back!

Lynch has treats for fans in every episode. Great to see back Rebekah del Rio, who I think sings music that is more characteristically Twin Peaks -- though I can appreciate Lynch wanting to branch out beyond that with the various bands featured. Still, I think Rebekah could have just been the new Julee Cruise.

One strange thing though: It sounded like she had an effect on her voice. Seems an odd choice, since she is known for that clear voice and it would seem to be shameful to use autotune, etc.

It was a beautiful song. This was the best musical act so far. It was better than last weeks terrible song by far.

Yes, it was a delight to see her back.

Also, it was great to see the beautiful interiors of Club Silencio in Part 8 - in the scene with a giant man creating a golden ball. This scene was filmed in the same place as the Club Silencio scene in Mulholland Drive - it's a historic movie theater in Los Angeles called Tower Theatre. Its interiors are gorgeous, no wonder Lynch returned there.

Have walked past it -- I think it was a holy roller church at the time. Didn't make the connection--thanks!

By the way, just noticed that the guy with a guitar behind Rebekah is none other than Moby.

Best song ending of the series so far. She sings so beautifully!

I want to know why they auto-tuned the hell out of her voice for this though. She's a great singer, and doesn't need it.

The original recording sounds much better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHc-GXuubwQ
