Lana Del Rey

Unless I'm mistaken, I haven't seen her in the new cast list. This is very disappointing, as she is the ideal Lynch femme fatale in nearly every way (not to mention they are huge fans of each other).

Oh well.....guess we'll have to settle for a possible song on the new soundtrack.

Is she a good actress?

Lynch has not said he is a HUGE fan of her, he merely answered respectfully when someone asked him if he knew of her.

Read an article somewhere recently that said they were both big fans of each other. Will try to find it if I can.

As far as whether she can act, that's beside the point here. Lynch could have put her in a minor role that fits her image/retro style. She'd fit nicely into the TP universe.

She has the look down, but I seriously doubt she has the acting chops. It could be very tricky. I could only see her is a small cameo or perhaps a performance a la Julie Cruise in a dark, dingy bar. Anything more and the veneer of her appeal could crack quickly.

Well, sure. I didn't see her in a big role or anything but something small, with minimal acting, where she's just there to set a mood...I am sure she could nail.

At least he got Sky Ferreira.

She is bad

Maybe she's a murder victim whose picture we'll see on a mantelpiece...?
I agree, she's perfect for Twin Peaks. She should at least perform in one of the songs. Would be great :-)

Indeed. It was my hope that she writes an original song for the show and performs it on-stage at a creepy establishment (a la Julee Cruise) but perhaps too much to wish for.

I have to say I'm not familiar with her music. This show already is stuffed to the brim with singers and musical acts who have and haven't worked with Lynch in the past, so I'd say it has enough music for an all-music Roadhouse concert episode if that's the way it turns out.
