If true, this is surprising. Showtime needs to do a considerable amount of "education," for lack of a better word, with this show. That includes basic promotion and also re-airing the originals. Given how long in advance projects on TV and in the movies are teased/promoted today, it feels like they're behind for a release that is fast approaching. They haven't released a proper trailer. Of course one can say that they're doing things differently, but they can't be too different because this show may be a hard sell to a new audience.
shareThey already have airdates for the original series. Jan. 14 Showtime marathons Season 1 and Feb. 20 they play Season 2.
As for a proper trailer, not sure what they are going to do, given the great lengths they've gone to hide any plot details.
Oh, I didn't realize they actually had the original show scheduled. Don't have Showtime yet but own the BD set anyway. I guess a trailer/promo of some kind can for sure be expected before then.
shareI am really hoping for a real trailer as well. The teasers they've done so far have been OK, but they don't really do it for me- I want to see actual footage.
