understood.. but there were obvious clues.
Sara's vision of a mysterious man at the foot of Laura's bed (we don't yet know anything at this point), Cooper's dream where we actually meet Bob for the first time, along with his confession.. Ronette's hospital flashback that showed us how it all went down in the abandoned train car.. Leland's off putting behavior that suggested he may be involved.. the big mirror reveal that Bob was an inhabiting spirit who was using Leland.. and Leland's deathbed realization that he had killed his own daughter.
