This is why I read Mark Frost's book. I was under the impression that it would fill in what happened between the series. No mention of Annie.

Still can't believe they chose not to involve Heather Graham. Not meaning to sound catty, but they allegedly offered a role to Lara Flynn Boyle (looking the way she does) but passed on Heather who is arguably a bigger name, looks amazing and has probably aged better than most of the other female cast??
And now that Lynch has said FWWM is important - wouldn't this place even more importance on Annie given that she was able to travel through time to warn Laura about being trapped in the black lodge with cooper? A warning that could be the key to his release if in fact she did write it down and the diary page is eventually found.
It's suspicious that Norma's history (and Annie's existence) has been rewritten in TSHoTP. Either they've killed her off, wiped her out completely or keeping her appearance secret. I'm hoping for the latter, or at least for closure of some sort.
With all the buzz right now I feel sorry for her being one of the only original cast members excluded.
Maybe the Lindstroms were to Norma much as Norma seems to be to Shelley --the only relevant parent figures. I could certainly see Hawk omitting what he feels is not worth bringing up.

But her acting skills haven't aged well, as a matter a fact its gotten worse. A part of me actuallywants to believe that DL had nothing to do with casting her because of how bad she is. Seriously, its amazing how great and perfect the female cast is before she showed up .
