Audrey survives, Pete and Andrew were killed. Catherine became a recluse and never publicly addressed what happened.

Not sure on Ben - obviously he wasn't hurt too badly and didn't press charges against Doc Hayward - the good doctor is tending to Coop the very next day in his hotel room (S2 last scene). My question is whether the new knock on the head reverted him back to the "bad" version of himself he was before the Civil War business. My guess though is that this won't even be addressed in the new season - 25 years later Ben is either good or bad....and hopefully it's the latter. I hope Ben has a nice-sized role.

I haven't watched most of the series, at least the latter second season, since it originally aired. I want to re-watch the show before this new one, but the interest in the lamer plot lines of the second season isn't very high. This show should be focused on moving forward with new mysteries. We'll get some kind of answer to some of the stuff that happened late in season 2, but since it's 25 years later, I doubt it will be a big part.

In the missing pieces Dell Josie and Pete end up in heaven together. If you read Fire Walk With Me as a sequel then Ben and Audrey end up at the Fat Trailer Trout Park. Ben is brain damaged and Audrey is a cripple.
There's another scene in heaven in the missing pieces with David Bowie.

She has a kind of psychiatric cabaret. Very good. There was something about Suez.
