The slow and gentle pace takes a bit of getting used to. But, I am liking this... I have to admit, I rather dismissed Mackenzie Crook for a long time, due to his association with the tedious Ricky Gervais, which is a shame, as he turns out to be a highly watchable actor.

Agreed...rather good sitcom. Trivia: same unusal picture of sea with waves seen in Andy and Maggie's front room as in Lewis: 'The Lions Of Nemea' In victim's flat.

I really like it.
It's funny, quirky, beautifully played, with spot-on music.

Yes, it's a hidden gem, perfectly balanced and with some truly wonderful performances. A buried treasure, perhaps. Thanks goodness the BBC still makes them.

Yup - simply wonderful little comedy, one of the best things I've seen in a long time.

Wonderful casting & beautiful pace, looking forward to the 'climax' this week :)

I'm really enjoying it too. Nice to see a decent comedy that isn't crude which seems to the penchant nowadays for humour. All the cast are great I'm hoping it will be renewed.

Very enjoyable, gentle comedy.

Am loving it. In the mad, shifting world of today it is a nice gentle rock. The sitcom equivalent of the bakeoff.

Some very nice characters and some very funny moments. Poignant soundtrack.

Well done indeed.
