I have to say its very funny
shareThe slow and gentle pace takes a bit of getting used to. But, I am liking this... I have to admit, I rather dismissed Mackenzie Crook for a long time, due to his association with the tedious Ricky Gervais, which is a shame, as he turns out to be a highly watchable actor.

It's funny, quirky, beautifully played, with spot-on music.
Yes, it's a hidden gem, perfectly balanced and with some truly wonderful performances. A buried treasure, perhaps. Thanks goodness the BBC still makes them.

I'm really enjoying it too. Nice to see a decent comedy that isn't crude which seems to the penchant nowadays for humour. All the cast are great I'm hoping it will be renewed.
