Her husky voice does it for me.
However I admit that if Becky had been played by some other humdrum actress I might not be so keen on the character.
And now her mum joins the cast for series 2 - playing her on-screen mum, Veronica!
Starts this Thursday on BBC4 at 10pm, repeated after midnight.
She has been a bit more bearable since series 2 began...
