Topic kinda says it all. I really enjoyed the old episodes. IDK why they didn't make more. The guy who played Dirk (Stephen Mangan) plays Sean in "Episodes" on Showtime. He was far better at portraying Dirk. He was also funny. The soundtrack for the old show was catchy. I miss Dirks car, the Princess.... POS. But it had character. I really wanted to like this, but it didn't feel like the character I knew from the books, or previous series.

Did you see the one that was BASED on the books? This isn't.

Yeah I did. Except you can't do DA by doing DA so this manages to be closer to source material by completely avoiding it than old one ever could

That's like saying Lawnmower Man the movie was better than King's story, because the only thing the movie kept was the title.
