I know Dirk does at the beginning of each episode, but I'm not sure I understand how he understands what he understands. Same with other characters who come to revelations: how do they know what they know? So, try to summarize this and see if you can untangle the various threads.

I noticed that Todd does a pretty good summary of everything in the last episode, so I'm glad for that. I still don't know how the police officer figured out the dog was Lydia, or where the Rowdy 3 came from. What happened to the older military (?) guy at the end. He just sort of disappeared. And who sent them? I guess that's for next season?

Rowdy 3 were the first group from the military like proje t that also produced Dirk and the assassin.
Nice Millitary guy got kicked off/rezigned. He was talking to Dirk while Dirk was under and left before Dirk woke up. It was a passage of time implied, and Dirk may have heard it subconciously as he was almost expecting someone as he woke.
The military group sent them.at the end, you see the meeting where young dude is put in charge.
Bigger thing that no one has posted on is that Dirk may have changed the note at the end so altering the loop slightly? But I have not been able to see note at start again.
