You're commenting on the wrong show. Stephen Mangan was in the 2010 version called simply "Dirk Gently". This board is for a brand new Dirk Gently series, "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency", that stars Samuel Barnett as Dirk Gently, and doesn't even premier until tonight.

Now, don't you feel like an idiot? Get back to the "B Ark" where you belong.

I've set up my dvr to tape tonight's premier. I watched Dirk Gently and enjoyed that series. Do you know if this has anything to do with it? A prequel or sequel?

He's not in this at all. I think you're confused. He was in the British series, but this is the page for the American series.
