But is it just their version of Supernatural, much like Pacific Heat tries (and fails) to be Archer?
Dirk Gently is not at all similar to Supernatural. It's not a Netflix original, but a BBC America production. It's more similar to Doctor Who or Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy if anything.

This is weird, quirky, funny and insane. This is a great show, much better than supernatural imo.
I think Netflix did a great job with this. Hope they take on Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy as well.

First, no. It's absolutely nothing like Supernatural at all. Second of all, you're aware that Supernatural is a "ripoff" of The X-Files, right? And that they're both "ripoffs" of Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

this is completely different from Supernatural. about the the only similarities are the following:
there is a set of two males(Dirk and Todd) doing stuff together.
a nice(depending on who you ask) car
time travel(spoilers for both though minor for Supernatural)
if you want a Netflix knockoff of Supernatural, you should watch Crazyhead.
