Standing ovations

I’ve seen posts about people giving the film a standing ovation at Cannes but most of the time it was mentioned BEFORE the film began. Did people stand and applaud AFTER the film as well?

I have my tickets already for the Nov. 28th Uncut screening! I cannot wait to see what he’s done this time. Lol

Seems almost every other movie made by a moderately famous director gets these "standing ovations"..
