They should’ve worked in Michelle somehow

Having Michelle missing was a glaring omission on the show. And of course the Olson twins don’t want to come back. Who can blame them? Can you really say they consented to being actors in the show? They were forcibly big stars before they were even self conscious. But Michelle’s absence in a family that close seems wrong.
After a few seasons when it became obvious that the Olson twins wouldn’t return, they should’ve just recast Michelle with the Olson sister Elizabeth Olson instead. Given the circumstances , I think people would’ve understood. And since she is a star in her own right, I think a cameo here and there would’ve been acceptable. She has a busy life in the series anyway.
