Why is this only on Netflix?

Why can't they put his on tv too? Makes no sense

No, it would make no sense to put it on TV. Netflix is who paid to make this show possible, they are the ones who picked it up. They would lose money if the show aired on television. I am assuming a network would have to buy the show out from Netflix to gain the rights.

reply

Because it's a Netflix original.

The creators of the show initially pitched it to TV networks, but no one wanted to take it. Finally, Netflix took it. So you should thank them if you like the show otherwise we wouldn't be seeing it at ALL!

reply

I'm shocked Freeform didn't take it. It oozes that channel, IMO.

reply

Agreed. Fuller House could've fit right in with shows like "Melissa & Joey" and "Baby Daddy".

reply

Jeff Franklin tried to get networks to geen light it as far back as 2007

No one wanted to take a chance on it.

netflix stepped up when no one else would. if it weren't for netflix, we wouldn't have the show

reply

2007 huh?

I think now makes more sense.

reply

Because, it's a Netflix show. Same reason America's Got Talent is only NBC or The Walking Dead is only on AMC.

What's going on? What's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here...

reply

Well The Walking Dead is syndicated now. I would imagine Netflix could make good money on that in the future as popular shows can command a strong syndication price tag.

reply

Wow. Because Netflix owns the rights, and they would loose money if another carrier showed it.

Come on, Netflix is only $7.99 a month.

reply

I like it better on Netflix

Because the tv networks didn't want Fuller House
