So the reason PJ did it....

I just finished and I'm a little surprised I didn't see any threads discussing PJ's motivation for shooting himself. Maybe this was already talked out and you've moved on, but after watching the finale I have my some thoughts on this. But first, I want to know what people are thinking? Why do you think he did it?

I guess I have to say no, it isn't enough because you don't actually even list what I think are the most likely reasons.

So to me it comes down to one of two things:

1. He realizes/believes that he is responsible for his wife's rape. This is related to your #3-5 but the key you didn't state is that he realized that his wife was raped because he had cheated and was so overcome with guilt that he shot himself.

or

2. He believes that Parnell is responsible for his wife's rape. This is related to your #2 but, again, you're just pointing out facts not drawing conclusions (which is why I asked the question). The conclusion seems to be, he watched the video over and over, noticing that this company his father is helping bring in has stolen his software, concludes his father probably new about this and oked it. He probably thought back to #1 above and believed his father really hated him enough to let someone rob him and rape his wife and then blame him for being a pussy. Because of this he shot himself.

To me those seem to be the most likely reasons.

You're only assuming that Anne had Jocelyn raped. We don't know that.

Or he knows it for a fact.
