Well that escalated quickly, *spoilers* obviously!

I was watching the episode thinking "ho hum, this episode is kind of filler and this guy Jelco is a cartoonish buffoon".

Then BANG bloddy buffoon shoots Hills in the goddamn head! o_O

And I don't think Hills is coming back from that despite Turin's miraculous survival! So farewell Hills I guess. Jesus!

That being said, we really don't need anymore antagonists on this show. Why waste time with this Jelco douche when we could have Khlyen and his shadowy adversary?!

I may have to watch again when I'm in a different mood. But except for the execution of Hills and the return of Turin and his incomparable mane of hair, I found the episode kind of weak.

I kind of saw that coming as soon as he said he was headed to talk to the guy.

When he proudly defended his actions I knew he was a goner.

Since, apparently, Khylen isn't the bad guy anymore, I think you're looking at the Big Bad Guy for this season. And I'm thinking "gassing Old Town" is like No. 4 on his To-Do list, and killing Hills was No. 2.

Well you saw more than I did! I was absolutely not expecting Hills to get killed off, especially not so early in the season.

I really hope that Jelco is not the Big Bad for this season. He does not seem epic enough to follow Khlyen. You know, since he is not a bad guy anymore. (:

And I think there was a cast interview where it was revealed that the Super Bad Mega Evil for this season was a woman. Which I'm kinda hoping is true at this point.

Maybe she is the one Khlyen is afraid of and that is why he is making Level 6's...

reply

Same here. As soon as he was standing up for himself, saying "court martial me, blah blah blah", I said to myself, "nope, you're dead".

"Do you feel fortuitous? Well, do you? Hooligan?"

reply

It's classic. As soon as someone changes their evil ways or decides to retire, they're a goner. Since Khlyen may not be the evil guy we thought, his days must be numbered...

I think Khlyen is unpredictable but he might become the one that the Killjoys will depend on other then Turin.
