Episode 204; What happened to the girls? (spoilers)

At the end of the episode they take Olan and his brother to the monastery on Leith, but they never said what happened to the two girls they were escorting. In fact you never see them again after they go into the stasis pods.

Are we to assume that they were just returned to their families? If so, how do you think Dutch and the others explained the fact that they weren't at the school which was supposed to be their chance at a better life? They can't tell them the truth and there's a possibility that any explanation they give might anger the parents if they were supportive of their daughters being given such an opportunity.

Did they just leave them in the stasis pods?

Seyah Kendrys probably took guardianship of the girls. She would start another unsanctioned 'school' to replace the tragic loss of this one. Whatever she was trying to do to 'educate' seemed to have worked quite well on the lone survivor.

But would Dutch and Pawter have let her take the girls when they considered what she was doing to be barbaric?

Given that Delle Seyah wasn't really in a position to stop Dutch I assume the girls were just taken back home.
